A rapidly growing civils and groundwork company in Stafford is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to help grow their client base, strengthen relationships, and identify new commercial opportunities as part of their continued expansion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of business growth and client engagement. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business, maintaining key accounts, and supporting the company's long-term growth strategy.

As the Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the groundworks, civils, and construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids to secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
  • Provide regular business development reports and market insights to senior management.

The Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:
