Marketing Assistant in Portsmouth

Marketing Assistant | Portsmouth | 40k per annum

We’re looking for a Marketing Associate to join a growing business and play a hands‑on role in delivering its marketing strategy.

This is a varied role for someone who loves copywriting, content, social media, campaigns and getting things done. Working closely with Marketing and Business Development, you’ll help keep the marketing engine running day to day.

What’s on offer:

• Basic salary up to 40k per annum
• 36 days holiday per annum
• Training and development, support for professional relevant training
• Monday to Friday (flexible to consider a 4 day week)
• Ideal hours 8am-4.30pm
• Office based at Lakeside North Harbour

You’ll be responsible for:

• Creating engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, email and web
• Planning and delivering marketing campaigns
• Managing and maintaining CRM data and leads
• Managing the social media content calendar
• Coordinating freelancers and external suppliers
• Exploring and implementing AI to improve marketing workflows and content

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a strong copywriter with excellent attention to detail
• Understands social media, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
• Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Is proactive, commercially minded and enjoys taking ownership
• Has a genuine interest in AI and its potential within marketing

Ideally you also have:

• Knowledge of both creating and managing content across LinkedIn & Instagram
