Exciting opportunity to join a leading design brand in the Fit-Out Sector. Upon joining this ambitious, family founded, fast-paced SME you will instantly recognise that their flat structure, agile working patterns, positive self-directed and collaborative team culture is the powerful differentiator that facilitates their growth.

Package: Basic salary to £35k per annum. Bonus. Free Lunch, Parking onsite, Pension. Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm. Dedicated training.

Your Role: Building on your technical foundation will be commercially astute, naturally able to absorb technical detail and thrive on collaboration working as part of a fast-paced Technical Team:

  • Review client drawings passed to you from the Sales Team.
  • Create scope including creation of basic drawings showing wiring using CAD / SketchUp.
  • Suggest relevant products (shading & acoustic products).
  • Liaise with supply chain for pricing.
  • Calculate costings.
  • Provide Sales Team with complete project estimate.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships; internally, suppliers and clients as required.
  • Completion and maintenance of compliance, ISO & tender documentation.

Expected Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of CAD / SketchUp software.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Eager to learn & develop your estimating career.
  • Possess a technical mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to absorb technical product details and be detail focussed.
  • Collaborative disposition.

Ideal: Experience / knowledge of a related industry (Drafter, AutoCAD, Construction, New Build, Fit-Out, Design & Build, Architecture, Interior Design) Relevant technical qualification or Degree.
