Trainee Financial Adviser
Northleach, Gloucestershire (Hybrid - 4 days in the office)
£40,000 - £50,000 plus bonus | Fully funded Diploma | Genuine career change opportunity
Ready for a second career that really means something?
We're looking for someone who has already built a successful career in another profession and is now looking for a long-term move into financial planning.
You might have worked in banking, recruitment, professional services, been in the military or another client-focused career where you've built relationships, earned trust and developed strong commercial judgement. Previous experience in financial planning is not essential.
What is important is that you've already decided that financial services is the career you want. Maybe you've started your Diploma in Financial Planning, been researching the profession, spoken to advisers, or simply spent time understanding what the role involves. We want someone who's making a considered career move, not just applying because it sounds interesting.
The opportunity
You'll join de Lisle Financial Planning, an established independent firm that puts long-term client relationships at the heart of everything it does.
Working directly alongside the Managing Director, a Chartered & Certified Financial Planner, and the Practice Manager, you'll learn every aspect of the profession from the ground up.
This isn't a role where you'll be thrown into selling products. You'll learn how real financial planning works - from research and report preparation through to client meetings and relationship management - before gradually progressing towards becoming a regulated Financial Adviser.
We'll fully fund your Diploma in Financial Planning and support you every step of the way.

- Has already enjoyed success in another career.
- Genuinely wants to become a Financial Adviser and can demonstrate why.
- Enjoys building trusted relationships with people.
- Is organised, detail-focused and happy balancing administration with client work.
- Is looking for a long-term career, not just the next job.
- Lives within a sensible commuting distance of Northleach and has a full UK driving licence.
Financial services experience is welcome but absolutely not essential. Mindset, motivation and people skills matter far more.
