Are you an experienced financial services professional who thrives on people, performance, and momentum? Do you enjoy bringing energy to a team, driving results, and helping others succeed? Tanager Wealth Management is looking for a Financial Adviser Team Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the performance, culture, and growth of our adviser team.

Why this role stands out

  • Competitive salary with bonus linked to performance
  • 5% employee pension
  • Private medical insurance & income protection
  • A genuinely supportive, high-performing team environment
  • The opportunity to shape how a growing advice business scales

The role

This is not a traditional top-down management role. Instead, you'll sit alongside advisers as a peer leader, coach, and performance driver — someone who brings clarity, energy, and accountability. You'll be responsible for:

  • Driving team performance against key KPIs (new assets, revenue, conversion rates)
  • Keeping the sales pipeline active, structured, and moving
  • Supporting advisers with business development, conversions, and client engagement
  • Producing and analysing management information and performance data
  • Leading on training, coaching, and continuous improvement
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
  • Working closely with marketing, compliance, and operations to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Ensuring high standards across client experience and regulatory processes

What you'll need

  • A background in financial services (financial planning, wealth management, or investment management)
  • Experience influencing or leading people — even informally
  • Strong understanding of how advisory businesses grow and win clients
  • Confidence working with KPIs, reporting, and performance data
  • A natural ability to energise, motivate, and connect with people

Someone who is:

  • Sociable
  • Enthusiastic
  • Creative
  • And thrives in a people-first environment

Who this role suits

This role could suit:

  • A Practice Manager or Team Leader in financial services
  • Someone from investment management or wealth management with strong commercial awareness
  • A natural people leader who enjoys influence more than hierarchy
