Key Responsibilities
- CADCAM Programming & Manufacturing
- Develop and optimise CNC programs for complex precision components.
- Utilise CADCAM software to create efficient manufacturing processes.
- Program and support 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
- Conduct prove-outs and validate manufacturing processes before production release.
- Develop efficient machining strategies and tooling solutions.
- Ensure all programmes achieve required quality, cycle time and delivery targets.
- Technical Leadership
- Mentor and support CNC operators and junior programmers.
- Share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
- Provide technical guidance on machining challenges and process improvements.
- Support new product introduction and manufacturing projects.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Assist with fixture design and process optimisation.
