Overview
A Quantity Surveyor with a focus on civils, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. Your role will involve cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses
- Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
- Managing the financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
- Preparing and reviewing detailed progress and cost reports
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks
- Managing project cash flows and financial reporting
- Advising on procurement strategy and contract selection
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong civil engineering focus
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods and materials
