We are seeking an experienced CADCAM CNC Programmer to join an advanced manufacturing and engineering team based in County Tyrone. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled programmer with strong multi‑axis machining experience to play a key role in developing manufacturing processes, supporting production teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise CNC programs for complex precision components.
  • Utilise CADCAM software to create efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Program and support 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
  • Conduct prove‑outs and validate manufacturing processes before production release.
  • Develop efficient machining strategies and tooling solutions.
  • Ensure all programmes achieve required quality, cycle time and delivery targets.

Technical Leadership

  • Mentor and support CNC operators and junior programmers.
  • Share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
  • Provide technical guidance on machining challenges and process improvements.
  • Support new product introduction and manufacturing projects.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with fixture design and process optimisation.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CAD/CAM CNC Programmer.
  • Strong knowledge of multi‑axis machining.
  • Experience programming complex precision‑engineered components.
  • Proficiency in CADCAM software such as CATIA, Hypermill or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and programming issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising technical teams is desirable.
