Responsibilities:
- Identify, measure, assess, implement, manage, and report all compliance and money laundering risks, and assist with the implementation of the compliance programme for the business.
- Implement a regulatory compliance annual coverage plan and a monitoring programme encompassing all aspects of monitoring activities.
- Provide regulatory analysis support and reporting in the business.
- Monitor compliance of the business with changes in the regulatory environment and amendments to existing regulations.
- Compile AML monitoring compliance reports as evidence of continued compliance and resolution of regulatory breaches.
- Implement risk-based Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and KYC annual monitoring plan.
- Oversee the development and quality assurance of compliance control plans and control self-assessment.
- Complete Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) in the event of suspected money laundering activity.
Key Skills:
- Proven compliance experience in the UK.
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in a Financial Services Risk environment.
- Experience in banking or Fintech operations, policy implementation, and internal control systems.
Qualifications:
- A Commercial Degree in Banking, Business Studies, Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a Bachelor of Law degree.
- A Postgraduate Diploma or a certificate in Risk Management or Compliance is an added advantage.
