Salary: £26,000–£27,000 (DOE) | Full-Time | AAT Study Support Available
Location: Ware
Contract: Full time, permanent, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
What You’ll Be Doing as a Trainee Accountant / Accounts Assistant
- Performing bank and payroll reconciliations
- Managing the sales ledger and credit control processes
- Carrying out nominal ledger analysis
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Checking and processing net wage payments
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support (emailing, scanning, filing, clerical duties)
- Taking on other finance and office tasks as needed to support the team

Who We’re Looking For
- Confident, adaptable, and eager to develop within a professional finance environment
- An AAT studier, or someone keen to begin their AAT journey (full study support provided!)
- A clear and professional communicator with a positive, proactive approach
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel experience essential)
- Familiarity with Sage is a bonus, but not essential
- Previous accounting or office experience is helpful—but not essential.
