Our client, a well-established and highly respected insurance company, are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join their friendly and supportive team. This position would suit a self-motivated and personable individual with good knowledge and experience in Commercial insurance.
Location: St Albans
Salary: £50,000 plus commission (£56,000 OTE 1st year)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday

What you will be doing:
- You will be expected to prospect and develop new leads, identify cross sell opportunities and to win new business.
- Identify, contact, and convert new business opportunities within the SME commercial sector.
- Conduct research into local businesses, market conditions, and competitors to identify and approach prospective customers.
- Use insight to develop and deliver a consistent sales pipeline.
- Support the delivery of local marketing activity, including attendance at shows, events, and local networking opportunities to build your profile and the company's brand.
- Understand clients’ individual business needs and provide tailored insurance solutions using the range of general insurance products.
What we are looking for:
- You must have experience selling commercial insurance.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and thrive in a sales environment
- Good negotiation, organisation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
