Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Letchworth Job Type: Full time hours – Temp to perm contract Hours: 07:00AM – 15:00PM – Monday to Friday Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour based on experience Company Overview: Our client based in Letchworth is looking for a hard working and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team and ensure the optimal performance of their machinery and systems. Key Responsibilities: * Maintenance and Repair: Regular maintenance and repair of packaging machinery, motors, and electrical systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. * Inspection: Conducting routine inspections of tanks, pipework, and machinery to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. * Fault Finding: Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults across various voltage systems, including 24 VDC, 230 VAC, and 415 VAC, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions. * Installation and Upgrades: Installing new machinery and upgrading existing systems to improve operational efficiency and output quality. * Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in line with relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Required Skills: * Electrical Knowledge: Proficiency in working with various electrical voltage systems, including 24 VDC, 230 VAC, and 415 VAC. * Mechanical Skills: Strong ability to repair and maintain mechanical components, particularly in packaging machinery. * Problem-Solving: Exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team. * Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of industrial automation and control systems, with the ability to integrate and maintain complex systems. * Communication: Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with other engineers and departments to ensure smooth operations.
