We are looking for a Digital Printer & Finisher to join our client's busy Print Room, producing high-quality, bespoke safety signage for a wide range of clients. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys seeing a job through from concept to completion and takes pride in delivering outstanding results.
The Role
As a key member of the Print Room team, you will be involved in the full production process, including:
- Creating and amending artworks to meet client and production requirements
- Planning and setting up jobs using industry-standard RIP software
- Operating large format digital print machines
- Finishing work to a high standard, including:
- Laminating
- Vinyl application
- Mounting
- Cutting and trimming
You’ll play an important role in ensuring all client orders are produced accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with agreed company lead times.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in digital printing and finishing is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate. More importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and aptitude.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and company growth
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple jobs effectively
- Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
Skills & Experience (Advantageous)
- Experience with industry-standard large format printing machines
- Familiarity with computer systems, RIP software, and Excel databases
- Market and product awareness within print or signage
- Previous experience in a print production or finishing environment
