We’re looking for a skilled and versatile A/C Maintenance Engineer to join a growing facilities and building services team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, solving problems on-site and getting involved across a broad range of mechanical and building services requirements.
You’ll be responsible for keeping customers’ environments running smoothly, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial sites.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems
- Installation, servicing and fault-finding on split systems
- Maintenance and diagnostics of VRF/VRV systems
- Working on chillers and associated equipment
- Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Supporting general building maintenance and associated M&E tasks
- Responding to breakdowns and customer requirements
- Completing service reports, maintenance records and relevant compliance documentation
- Working closely with customers and the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class service
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a technically capable engineer who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working across different environments.
Essential:
- Previous experience as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer
- F-Gas registered
- Strong experience working with split systems
- Experience with VRF/VRV systems
- Practical experience with chillers
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience of general building maintenance / M&E
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong customer service and communication skills
