The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 6-12 months of PR & Marketing communications experience and will gain responsibility for developing and implementing effective communication strategies. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the organisation’s mission, values, and initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure positive coverage.
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other promotional materials that effectively communicate our messages.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding the organisation, providing insights to senior management.
- Organise press conferences, events, and promotional activities to engage the community and enhance visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Manage crisis communication efforts when necessary to protect the organisation’s reputation.
Requirements
- Proven 6-12 months Experience in Public relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels of an organisation.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for brand promotion and engagement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
