The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 6-12 months of PR & Marketing communications experience and will gain responsibility for developing and implementing effective communication strategies. You will build relationships with the public, media, and stakeholders. This role requires a creative thinker with strong organisational skills and a passion for public relations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the organisation’s mission, values, and initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure positive coverage.
  • Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other promotional materials that effectively communicate our messages.
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding the organisation, providing insights to senior management.
  • Organise press conferences, events, and promotional activities to engage the community and enhance visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Manage crisis communication efforts when necessary to protect the organisation’s reputation.
Requirements
  • Proven 6-12 months Experience in Public relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels of an organisation.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for brand promotion and engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
