From concept & design to installation & commissioning, they provide fresh produce, and prepared food & drink companies with bespoke temperature-controlled storage, packing & distribution facilities. Using the latest insurance specified & food safe insulation, individually designed Control Instruments & Refrigeration Systems, they base all of their projects on an understanding of cost & energy efficiency as well as maximising the potential of business returns for clients.

About The Role:

You will be responsible for attending site to carry out a survey, passing on the information to the Draughtsman to produce a drawing which you will be asked to provide an Estimate/Quote to the client. The company also receive drawings from the Client for new build projects, along with a Specification to produce an Estimate/Quote, ensuring all estimating work is delivered efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liasing with Clients on current and future projects
  • Producing detailed estimates including construction costs, site abnormals, preliminaries, variations etc
  • Obtaining specialist Subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Assisting with pre-budget cost preparation
  • Producing and submitting cost and statistical reports as required

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working as an estimator/surveyor within the commercial and Industrial sector. Experience working with Coldstores would be advantageous but not essential.
