Hours: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (Overtime available)

We’re now looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their workshop team and support the company’s continued growth.

The Role:

As a Welder Fabricator, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient production of fabricated steel beams and components. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the production team
  • Cutting, prepping, drilling, and MIG welding mild steel products
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Following established procedures and workshop systems
  • Producing accurate, high-quality steelwork from draftsmen’s drawings
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety practices

About You:

We’re looking for someone with strong technical ability and a hands-on approach. You should have:

  • Previous experience in steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication drawings
  • Solid knowledge of MIG welding processes, weld symbols, and applications
  • A recognised MIG welding qualification (current or expired)
  • Understanding of CNC equipment (beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent timekeeping and planning skills
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude
  • Forklift driving experience and confidence loading vehicles
  • Your own transport
