Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
About The Company: With over 40 years of experience in the motor industry, their skilled team provide their customers with a competent, hassle-free and cost-effective service in Elvington, York, and the Wheldrake, Pocklington, Dunnington, Sutton-on-Derwent areas. Being a small garage, they are able to guarantee a personal touch which clients won’t find at the bigger chains and dealerships. They are an all-round independent garage, with a staff of 3 experienced technicians able to work on all makes and models of cars and large vehicles up to 4 tonnes. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their busy workshop.
Duties to include:
- Servicing, Repairs and Diagnostics on cars and light commercials, to include Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles.
Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ or C&G Level 3 Qualified.
- MOT tester certified is essential.
- MOT using OPTL (One Person Testing Lane).
- Must be able to work as a team and on own initiative.
- Must have own transport and full driving licence.
