They are a responsive Sheetmetal and Fabricating jobbing shop in Nelson, trading for over 25 years. Building their excellent reputation producing quality one-offs and small batch items, proud to work with companies across all sectors of engineering. They are looking to recruit multiple Skilled Welder / Fabricators to join their busy team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • You will be a skilled fabricator with 8+ years’ experience
  • In cooperation with all departments, ensure customer delivery schedules are met
  • A competent Stainless Steel TIG Welder
  • Able to finish work to a high standard
  • Have proficient inspection techniques
  • Able to assess and plan work according to timeframes and recommend process improvements
  • Able to discuss your work with intelligence and openness
  • Be a responsible member of the team
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on the shopfloor
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times

Company Benefits:

  • Excellent salary: £16 - £18 per hour
  • The option of a 4 day, 38-hour week (Mon - Thurs 07:00 till 17:00) or 5-day week 08:00 – 16:30 Mon – Thus & 08:00 – 14:00 Friday
  • Optional overtime available
  • 30 Days Holiday (including bank holiday) +1 day after 5 years’ service
