Excellent opportunity to join a well-established family business, primarily a sub-contract fabricator offering unrivalled support in the design and manufacture of steel, stainless-steel, and aluminium fabrications. We are currently seeking a Junior Administration Support Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. This role is ideally suited to someone with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar position, who is confident managing multiple tasks, supporting technical operations, and maintaining high levels of accuracy under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Administration
  • Inputting requests for quotes
  • Downloading Customer Drawings
  • Raising Orders
  • Creating Job packets
  • Creating Route cards
  • Creating Bills of Material
  • Creating/Printing Engineering Drawings
  • Completing Order Administration & Producing Delivery Notes
  • Purchasing Materials
  • General Office Administration
  • General Filing

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, or a technical industry
  • Familiarity with order processing or job management systems

Salary: £12.75 – 14.50 per hour depending on experience

Working Hours: 38 Hours per week, Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:30, Fri 08:00 – 14:00
