This family-owned local business established over 30 years ago, operating throughout the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands and North Wales. They are a growing team of over 110 skilled professionals working across three state-of-the-art factories. The company is committed to providing customers with high-quality products built to last.
About The Role:
This role requires excellent organisation, computer and time management skills, and some experience within the customer service industry communicating via face-to-face, email and telephone would be beneficial. The main focus of the role will be to answer all incoming telephone calls relating to the installations department and to direct them quickly and efficiently to the appropriate member of staff or department. Manning the installation email inbox, coupled with overflow switchboard duties.
Administration functions will form part of the role such as:
- Taking customer payments
- Booking installation dates
- Scanning documents
- Raising sales invoices
- Ad hoc office duties as required
Training on systems and knowledge of the products can be provided for the correct candidate. Ideally, experience of working in a busy call centre would be beneficial and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
