About The Role: The company is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join their team at their offices in Somersham. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills, they must be a strong oral and written communicator, confident and relaxed when speaking with customers, with the ability to adapt and respond to situations as they arise. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to contribute to business growth, build customer relationships, and support sales and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities
- Exploring new product opportunities that complement the business
- Planning and delivering marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, digital content, and customer engagement activities
- Qualifying and following up on assigned sales leads
- Communicating with existing and prospective customers via phone and email
- Occasional visits to customer sites for meetings or product demonstrations
- Preparing detailed quotations using Sage
- Attending national exhibitions and meetings as required
- Processing sales and purchase orders using the Sage accounting system
- Maintaining and updating the e-commerce section of the company website
- Preparing and delivering monthly sales meeting and KPI reports
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Experience with Sage or CRM systems would be advantageous
