Salary: £180 - £200 Per Day, Depending on Experience.

Location: Leicester LE2.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:20am – 4:00pm (Including ½ Lunch)

Based in Oadby, Leicester, they are renowned for their professional, friendly approach, offering an impressive selection of windows and doors and bringing clients projects together in a complete package, always expertly installed.

About The Role

Due to continued growth of their business, they are looking for an experienced Double-Glazing Installer on a self-employed basis. Working around 42 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You would be required to work both inside and outside using ladders or scaffolding to reach the upper levels if necessary. All work carried out is within the Leicestershire area; there is NO long-distance travelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Removing old windows and doors and replacing with PVCu/Aluminium windows and doors.
  • Making sure they are installed to the highest standard – level, secure, sealed and cleaned with all left-over materials taken away and making good any indoor timber or plaster work.
  • To be able to carry out building work relating to the installation of windows and doors.

Candidate Requirements

  • Building skills
  • You must hold a UK drivers’ licence
  • Work in a tidy respectful manner
  • You must have experience of using tools relevant to the job
  • Five or more years' experience of installing windows and doors to domestic properties
  • Installation and finishing must be carried out to a high standard
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Have own tools and PPE
  • Physically fit
  • Hold a current Public Liability policy
  • Hold an MTC card
  • CIS registered

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7.30am till 4pm (including 1/2hr lunch)
  • All work undertaken within Leicestershire
  • Immediate start available
  • Company vehicle will be provided
