About The Role:

The company are looking for the right, motivated individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join their busy transport team in the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic based at their Wickford depot. As a person, you'll believe in working in a team to achieve a common goal, being self-aware and supportive of others, demonstrating accountability and acting with integrity, while showing kindness and empathy.

Key Duties:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
  • Completing service records and documentation accurately.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
