The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Internal Sales Executive to join their North Ferriby team. This is an office-based internal sales and account-development role, not a remote position and not principally a customer-service or order-processing job.
You'll take ownership of sales enquiries, prepare and follow up quotations, develop existing accounts and identify wider opportunities from customers, website enquiries and prospects. They want somebody comfortable picking up the telephone, asking good questions and progressing an enquiry into a sale.
You'll work alongside our customer service team and provide order or customer support when required, but the principal focus is commercial: developing relationships, progressing opportunities and generating profitable sales.
The role is initially office-based, with opportunities to visit customers and suppliers or attend industry events. xgikmsk For the right person, there is scope to develop into broader account management and external sales responsibility.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling incoming sales enquiries and taking ownership through to conclusion
- Preparing quotations, proactively following them up and converting enquiries into orders
- Developing existing accounts and building relationships with purchasing, engineering and maintenance contacts
