About The Company: They are a small and expanding electronics company established in the pro-audio field. The company requires a junior/trainee repair technician capable of repairing audio amplifiers, mixers, loudspeakers and other audio equipment to board level and eventually component level.

Suitable candidates should be able to achieve the following:

  • Read circuit schematics to at least a basic level
  • Solder and de-solder components from a circuit board
  • Understand how to use basic measuring equipment such as an oscilloscope and multimeter
  • Recognize electronic components
  • Be computer literate; further training will be given

Some of the items they repair work at high voltage. An understanding of how to work with high voltage is a must. You will be trained on this aspect. The company expects the chosen candidate to work within their health and safety policies. In addition, a chosen candidate will be expected to manage themselves to a certain extent. Experience working within a small team would be advantageous. An interest in music and/or audio is also advantageous.

Starting salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance
