Job Description An excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to join a well-established company. \n Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. \n Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience. \n Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. \n About The Role: \n The company are an AA grade BRCG site and seeking an experienced and highly skilled Food Technical Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the site and food products are safe, legal, high quality, hygienic and compliant with regulatory, customer, and company standards throughout the site and food supply chain. The role bridges food science, quality assurance, compliance, and operations, acting as the technical authority within our food manufacturing site. \n Key Duties: \n Technical: \n · Managethecompanyqualitysystems,ensuringthatall documentation, risk assessments, standard operation procedures etc. n ·Understand the key elements of specification, certificate of conformance and other areas so that safety, quality,andlegislationarefullycompliedwiththroughthe entire production chain. \n ·Deal with customer issues including audits, complaints,andtechnicalconcessionreporting. \n · Ensurethatthecoldchainoperatesinaccordance with the company quality systems. \n ·Drive site food safety culture in alignment with business key values. \n ·Manage site microbiological performance through effective root cause analysis and reporting. \n ·Ensure that all key performance indicators are monitored, reported, and actioned if necessary. \n ·Ensure quality attributes are maintained accordingly, and prompt actions are taken when necessary to address quality issues. \n ·Lead preparation for and delivery of audits (BRCGS, regulatory) and act as the site lead for all external and customer audits. \n Training: \n · Develop,implement,andmaintaineffectivetraining programs. \n ·Collaborate with key business leaders and partners utilisingkeyperformanceindicatordatatoidentifyand priorities manufacturing training opportunities. \n ·Build capability through training on food safety, quality standards, and best practices. \n · Developandmaintaindocumentation,recordkeeping of training sessions. \n General: \n ·Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline. \n \n Strong knowledge of food safety systems and legislation, HACCP, Food Safety & Hygiene etc. \n Excellent risk assessment and problem-solving skills. \n Attention to detail with a commercial mindset. \n \n ·Leadership and people management capability. \n If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration. \n The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
