About The Company:

They are a specialist kitchen makeover company, delivering high-quality kitchen transformations from replacement doors and worktops to full kitchen re-fits throughout the North West. With a wide selection of colour and style combinations on display in their showroom along with worktops, appliances and everything else clients could need to makeover their space.

Job Description:

They currently have a showroom in Stockport and Warrington, with growth plans to open more showrooms next year. This role is offering a 40-hour contract where you will be required to travel throughout the North West (mileage will be paid at a rate of 0.45p per mile). Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Fitter to join their team. This role is ideal for a skilled fitter who takes pride in top-tier workmanship.

About The Role:

You’ll be hands-on, completing a variety of kitchen makeovers and your own remedial work to the highest standards. This role is perfect for a fitter who is looking for permanent regular work and wants to join a friendly local firm. The fitter has to be reliable and punctual.

Key Duties:

  • Complete high-quality kitchen makeovers, installations, and remedial fitting
  • Perform quality control checks on completed works
  • Act as an on-site point of contact for customers during installations
  • Work with other subcontractors
  • Carry out plumbing work, particularly following quartz worktop installs
  • Assist the Lead Fitter with scheduling and daily job planning

Candidate Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in kitchen installation and remedial fitting
  • Strong plumbing skills and attention to detail
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
  • Plastering skills (desirable)
  • Local trade contacts to call upon - E.g. Plastering, electrical works etc
  • Specific experience in doing Kitchen Makeovers is essential
