About The Role:

The company is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join their team at their offices in Somersham. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills, they must be a strong oral and written communicator, confident and relaxed when speaking with customers, with the ability to adapt and respond to situations as they arise. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to contribute to business growth, build customer relationships, and support sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities
  • Exploring new product opportunities that complement the business
  • Planning and delivering marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, digital content, and customer engagement activities
  • Qualifying and following up on assigned sales leads
  • Communicating with existing and prospective customers via phone and email
  • Occasional visits to customer sites for meetings or product demonstrations
  • Preparing detailed quotations using Sage
  • Attending national exhibitions and meetings as required
  • Processing sales and purchase orders using the Sage accounting system
  • Maintaining and updating the e-commerce section of the company website
  • Preparing and delivering monthly sales meeting and KPI reports

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with Sage or CRM systems would be advantageous
