Job Title: Factory/Purchasing Manager Salary:£40-43k depending on experience Contract/Hours: Permanent, 40hrs pw, including every 3rd Saturday Based: Kington, Herefordshire (HR5) Excellent opportunity for a Factory/Purchasing Manager to join a well-established company We are recruiting a Factory/Purchasing Manager to start as soon as possible. This will be working at the company base in Kington, Herefordshire. The role will also require attendance every third Saturday to review/assist work activities by the Saturday team. Time off in the week in lieu of this will be given. You will be working for a well-known and well-respected electrical installation company that employ around 50 staff. The company specialises in the installation of LV and ELV electrical systems for the water and waste-water sector. As the Factory/Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the Production Planner and 4 x Panel Builders as well as 2 x Site Support Assistants to ensure that we are meeting customer delivery targets and quality as well as managing the logistics of site materials, vehicles and hire equipment to meet site deadlines. As well as managing your team you will be responsible for raising orders to suppliers, negotiating favourable costs and delivery terms and identifying and assessing potential new suppliers. This will involve working closely with the Design Manager as well as site Contract and Project Managers.
