The Company: Founded in 1982, the company has been servicing Gas and Oil boilers and Agas for 45 years. Their engineers are Gas Safe and Oftec registered and between them have in excess of 50 years of experience. They now have an opening for a qualified gas or oil engineer to carry out service, maintenance and breakdowns on domestic properties.
About the Role: We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and skilled person to join our team. This full-time position will play a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success of our business. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of competency, creativity and dedication to ensure the team meets its objectives. We offer competitive rates of pay (dependent on age and experience). Hours of work are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Company vehicle, fuel card and mobile phone. Field based role with the office based in Reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with our customer demographic.
- Communicate effectively to the office after each visit.
- To ensure the vehicle is stocked with necessary parts.
- Other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold current Gas Safe or OFTEC qualifications.
- Experience of working as a gas or oil engineer.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An aptitude for problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.
