An excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a well-established company. Job Type: Full – Time, Permanent. Salary: £38,000.00 - £42,000.00 per year, Depending on Experience. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 Hour shifts – Overtime available on occasions. Albans, Hertfordshire, the company provides a wide range of plumbing, heating and gas solutions to a wide range of clients from Hospices, Hospitals, Schools to Builders. This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced maintenance plumbing and heating engineer. The engineer will be required to service, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial properties. Day to day responsibilities include diagnosing faults, general plumbing heating and hot water system faults. Carrying out maintenance and repair work along with completing necessary documentation / job reports / certificates. The engineer will work with office staff and other engineers to plan and undertake jobs along with managing van and stores stock. Strong plumbing and heating skills, including maintenance and service of equipment and associated systems ·Minimum Level 2 NVQ 6089/6129 certificate/qualification in plumbing & heating ·Minimum 5 years plumbing and heating experience ·Clean, valid UK driving license required ·Enhanced DBS check will be required ·Applicant to have CSCS card & good understanding of up-to-date health and safety regulations ·Ability to work as a team member or on own initiative on commercial, service and installation works with a can-do attitude ·Reliable, hardworking & good presentation individual to join a local and friendly family run business ·Company van and fuel card provided for driving between sites only ·Company uniform & PPE provided ·Company pension scheme ·Competitive rate of pay, salary dependant on experience ·Small family run Plumbing, Heating & Gas Business ·Proven experience in maintenance and repair and general maintenance with plumbing and heating environments ·28 days holiday - including bank holidays If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.
