Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 Per Hour, (£33,280 - £37,440 Per Annum), Depending on Experience
Location: Liversedge, West Yorkshire, WF15
Schedule: Monday Thursday 8.5 Hour Shift, Friday 6 Hour Shift (40 Hours Per Week)
About The Company: Established in 1974 and based in West Yorkshire, we provide expert mechanical service installation solutions nationwide, with most work carried out within a 30-mile radius of Liversedge. They now have an opportunity for a competent, time-served Pipe Fitter to join our team.
Role Requirements: This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position for a Pipe Fitter with solid, hands-on experience in industrial environments. Occasional UK travel may be required depending on workload.
- Practical experience working as a Pipe Fitter within the Industrial sector
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs
- Confident in measuring, marking out and routing pipework
- Able to install carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Comfortable working independently once given drawings and instructions
Please note: this role is not suitable for trainees, domestic plumbers, or candidates without industrial pipe fitting experience.
Duties:
- Install and assemble carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems according to specifications
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Install pipe hangers and supports to ensure proper alignment and elevation
- Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and functionality
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts
