An excellent opportunity for a General Operative to join a well-established company
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent 45 Hours Per Week.
Salary: £14.00 Per Hour.
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire NN11.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 07:00am to 17:15pm, Fridays from 07:00am to 13:00pm.
Benefits: 25 days of paid annual leave + bank holidays
Job Purpose
General metal working duties. May include operating of plant equipment but only if authorised to do so. Duties could include any of the following;
Materials handling
Deburring
Assembling components
Preserving
Drilling
Sawing
Semi automatic brazing ofassemblies
Pressure Testing components both hydrostatic and air under water
Spot Welding
Setting and Operating Part Numbering Machine
Setting and Operating Tapping Machine
Basic operation of pressbrakes
Operating robotic welders
Other responsibilities
It is a condition of employment that you make yourself available for and take full advantage of training.You are required to maintain your own professional continuous development.
Candidate requirements
Must be dexterous and have a willingness to work in different areas of the business.
Desirable experience in Robot Weld/ Machine
Personal qualities
Ability to attend work regularly and punctually.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Must be self-motivated
Methodical and precise.
