Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: Up to Β£21.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience with plenty of overtime on offer (Overtime paid at time and half & double time)
Location: Cardiff.
Shift pattern: 06:00-14:00 10:00-18:00 (Saturday mornings every other week)
About The Company:
The company provides workshop and mobile assistance to heavy good vehicles including trucks and trailers. With more than 19 years of experience in the industry, they are looking to bring on board new technicians who are looking for fresh challenge.
Job Role:
Based primarily at the busy commercial workshop, duties include
Vehicle inspections and repairs
MOT preparation and testing
Welding and fabrication
Diagnostic work
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Working efficiently under pressure as part of a team
Completing job records accurately and on time
Adhering to all health & safety and company policies
Skills & Experience:
Time-served technician essential
HGV licence preferred (not essential)
Experience with tail lifts and double-deck trailers preferred (training available)
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent ideal
Minimum 5 years experience with HGVs / plant / trailers preferred
