An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Buyers Administration Assistant to join a leading licensed consumer products business based in Watford.
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm | Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm

The Role is a varied and fast-paced administrative role providing essential support to the buying function. The successful candidate will assist with supplier management, product administration, order coordination, and the maintenance of accurate product information across multiple categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Buying & Product Administration:
- Provide administrative support to the buying team across multiple product categories
- Assist with the preparation and management of purchase orders
- Maintain accurate product, supplier and pricing information within internal systems
- Support the onboarding of new products and suppliers
- Assist with product range reviews, category analysis and market research
- Organise and manage product samples, approvals and product documentation
- Supplier Coordination:
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product information, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules
- Support supplier communications and maintain strong working relationships
- Track orders and follow up on outstanding information or deliveries
- Assist with supplier negotiations and cost analysis where required
- Systems & Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and other business systems
- Ensure all product data, pricing and supplier information is up to date
- Generate reports and provide administrative support for buying and commercial activities
- Monitor and update spreadsheets relating to stock, orders and product performance
- Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with buying, supply chain, sales and product development teams
- Assist with customer and retailer product information requests
- Support business projects and operational initiatives as required
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative and fast-paced working environment
Requirements:
- Essential:
- Previous experience in an administrative, buying support or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases and business systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred:
- Experience within buying, purchasing, merchandising or supply chain environments
- Experience using Sage or similar ERP/business systems
- Experience working within wholesale, retail, manufacturing or consumer products businesses
- Knowledge of purchase order management, stock control and supplier administration
- Experience supporting product sourcing or category management activities
