Job Description An excellent opportunity for an experienced Spray Painter to join a well-established company based in Newark \n Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. \n Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience. \n About The Company: \n Since being established in 1984, they have grown to become the UK's market leading gate and barrier company and has cemented a legacy that is synonymous with quality, reliability and service. \n Role Purpose \n Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, the post holder will be working as part of a team in a busy Fabrication workshop. You will be responsible for preparation and painting, as well assisting with assembly. \n Spray Painter - Job duties \n \n Wearing the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as issued, at all times. \n Working closely with your team, the contractor and other trades onsite. \n Following health and safety protocol at all times \n Inspection of products during preparation for any defects, e.g. welds, damage etc. \n To inform Quality Control of any major non-conformance. \n Preparing all items for painting. \n Prepare Primed surfaces in readiness for Top coating. \n Top Coat as per Contract or other specified requirement to correct thickness. \n Assembling Traffic Barriers and Gates both at head office and on site. \n Transport products using the Company Fork Lift Truck and overhead lifting equipment. \n Attend Training Courses as required. \n \n Skills, Knowledge and Behaviors \n \n Proven experience working within a similar role \n Previous experience in the use of 2-pack paints is essential \n Forklift Licence \n Able to use a range of hand tools \n Enjoy working under your own initiative and managing a busy workload \n A solid understanding of health and safety legislation \n A good standard of literacy and numeracy \n Reliable & professional \n Organised, able to prioritise work \n \n If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration. \
