The companies' six service categories are: geo-environmental, unexploded ordnance risk mitigation, ground investigation, construction materials testing, specialist drilling and geothermal energy solutions.
About The Role: The company is looking for new Field Technicians to join their expanding Construction Materials Testing team in Bristol. You do NOT need previous construction materials testing experience. They are far more interested in attitude, reliability and people who want to build a long-term career in a growing industry. They would particularly like to hear from people with experience in:
- Groundworks
- Utilities
- Concrete production or testing
- Quarrying and aggregates
- Highways or civils
- Drilling or site investigation
- Mechanical or technical roles
- Ex-forces backgrounds
- College leavers looking for a hands-on career
Full training will be provided. You will be joining one of the UK’s fastest growing testing businesses with laboratories throughout the UK and major investment into modern equipment, digital systems and new services. The role involves lab-based testing on major construction and infrastructure projects across the South West and surrounding areas. No two days are the same. Construction materials testing is a hugely important part of the industry and helps ensure roads, buildings and infrastructure are built safely and correctly. If you fancy a change, enjoy working outdoors and don’t want to be stuck behind a desk all day, this could be the career for you. It’s also a hands-on physical role, so ideal for people who like to stay active and keep fit while working.
