An excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Technician to join a well-established company!Job Type:Full-Time, PermanentOffice Based.Salary:Competitive Salary of £29,000 – £33,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.Location:Bromyard, Herefordshire HR7.Schedule:39.5 hours. Mon to Thur 8.30am-5.30pm, Fri 8.30am – 5pmAbout The Company:A leading & innovative British trade manufacturer of a wide range of corporate & promotional merchandise & beautiful gifts. They design, manufacture, print & finish all of the products they sell on site, with many unique products made from sustainable materials.

This is a hands-on role where you will work across Mac OS and Windows environments, manage cloud systems and use your scripting skills to streamline workflows and develop practical solutions.You will play a vital part in helping us live ourBettersculture;Better Products, Better Service, Better for the UK, Better for People, Better for the Planet.Reporting to our Senior Management Team this multi-functional role incorporates IT support, systems development & website design for the company.Developing the company ERP system to improve processes throughout the business, provide technical support to various departments in the form of creating automation and helping to solve technical issues.Responsibilities Include:Providing day-to-day IT support to colleagues across Mac OS and Windows systemsManaging and maintainingAWS EC2servers (or equivalent cloud platforms)Troubleshooting and resolvinghardware, software, and networking issuesto keep the business running smoothlyInstalling, configuring and maintaining software and hardwareUsing yourexcellent scripting knowledge (PHP, JavaScript, HTML)to create tools, automate tasks, and improve efficiencySupporting the integration of business applications into our workflowsDocumenting systems, solutions, and processes to ensure smooth knowledge transferWorking collaboratively with the wider team to find smarter, more sustainable solutionsLooking after network security protocolsYou will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required by the companyCandidate Requirements:Essential:A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar roleWeb development tools, namely HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQLA good understanding of relational databasesAppleScriptExperience in AWS EC2 and Linux or equivalent cloud server technologiesDesirable:Experience/knowledge of Claris FilemakerWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteQualifications:Essential:Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or IT related subjectAt least 4 GCSEs (grades 9-4/A*-C) including Maths and EnglishDesirable:Advanced GCSE in applied ITOther relevant Computer Science QualificationsAdditional Requirements:Highly detail oriented.Able to learn new skills/techniques quicklyBe personally energetic, dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision makingExceptional team player with a natural ability to build rapport with othersBe able to troubleshoot and offer solutionsAble to multi-task and meet deadlinesExcellent time managementA flexible approach and a willingness to accept feedback and incorporate it into their work.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDriving license (due to factory location)Desirable.If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
