Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 Per Hour, (£31,200 - £37,440 Per Annum Based on 40 Hours Per Week)

About The Role:

The company are a growing thermoforming packaging manufacturer, they are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their busy toolroom in Hunslet, Leeds. The role focuses on producing thermoforming tooling used in fully automated plastic packaging production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes
  • Operate manual milling machines and carry out bench fitting
  • Produce tooling components to precise specifications
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments
  • Support machining and tooling processes across production

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferably experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining operations are desirable
  • Experience in toolmaking or mechanical engineering within manufacturing
  • Skilled in precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, dial indicators)
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety standards
