The company are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Tramper Drivers to join their team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on delivery driving.
Training will be provided for the right candidate. A valid commercial driving licence is required.
Bank holidays bonus pay and a day holiday. Tramping Multi-drop Work normally 4 nights out a week. Paid nights out (£26 per night untaxed).
