Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary: £17 per hour
Location: Based from their workshop in Auchtermuchty.
The main purpose of the role is to carry out a wide range of servicing and repairs to Heavy Plant Equipment, Agricultural and ATVs in accordance with OEM service intervals, supporting customers' plant equipment on sites throughout Scotland. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out scheduled inspections, servicing, breakdowns & repairs in compliance with manufacturers' specifications on plant equipment including Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators, Generators, MEWPS, Telehandlers, Rollers, ATVs and other small plant.
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections and diagnosing faults accurately on site.
- Using diagnostics and completing LOLER & Thorough Examinations.
- Being able to weld and complete on-line job cards comprehensively & timely.
- Carrying out own vehicle checks.
- Travelling across Scotland.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and have experience in the maintenance and repair of similar types of plant and equipment, living within 30 miles of Auchtermuchty. Candidates must possess a valid clean driving license and have evidence of any certification and licenses required for the job e.g. NPORS/CSCS/IPAF/NVQ. Preferred candidates will have 5 years of plant maintenance experience and live within the Fife area or have reasonable travel time from the workshop.
8.5-hour shift (42.5hrs per week) with overtime/Saturdays as and when required. Offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks including references and, where relevant, DVLA, credit, or criminal checks.
