Excellent opportunity for an experienced Approved Electrician to join a well-established company based in New Alresford.

Salary: Up To £47,000 Per Annum, DOE

About The Company

Butler & King Ltd are an electrical business that has been established for over 30 years, specialising in high-end residential and commercial installations. The team consists of 18 employees with a range of technical and onsite experience. In addition, they also work closely with smart home installation and AV companies.

About the role

This role will be located at the company’s Alresford office in Hampshire. The successful candidate will directly oversee and deliver on a variety of domestic and commercial projects. The company is looking for an individual who is confident and able to use their leadership skills to make a significant impact on the business. In addition to their electrical skills, they will also be responsible for maintaining accurate administrative tasks associated with H&S, job reporting and certification. This role will require excellent organisational and communication skills to maintain effective time management when prioritising a busy workload. Lastly, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of great customer service and working well within a team.

Day-to-day responsibilities (these are not limited to):

  • Review RAMs, complete daily briefing forms and conduct toolbox talks
  • Manage a mixture of small and large projects
  • Working independently or forming part of a team
  • Train and develop apprentices
  • Update job sheets and material lists
  • Maintain communication with the office and clients

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Must have a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
  • Experience in testing throughout
  • Full UK driving license
  • Operate PC and tablet devices
