They are a forward-thinking multidisciplinary consultancy firm based in Newcastle Upon Tyne focused on providing Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical services in the North East of England and across the UK. They pride themselves on working closely with their clients and regulators, delivering assessment and mitigation of potential Geoenvironmental risks. Their capability extends to contaminated land investigation and remediation, geotechnical design and assessment.
Due to continued expansion, the company is looking to recruit a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer with an understanding of ground investigations, geotechnical design and/or contaminated land risk assessment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be supporting the existing team both on site and in the office and will primarily involve you:
- Undertaking site visits
- Carrying out Desk Study searches and reports
- Undertaking/supervising site investigations/insitu testing
- Compiling reports on contaminated land and geotechnical issues both quantitative and qualitative.
REQUIRED
- 0-3 years of experience within the industry
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum BSc in a Geological, Geoenvironmental or Geotechnical related discipline
- A full UK driving license
