The company are looking for the right, motivated individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join their busy transport team in the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic based at their Wickford depot.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers, to VOSA standards. Candidates will also be required to maintain a high standard of housekeeping, as well as conduct cosmetic repairs, which is likely to include painting and welding. The company operate a fleet of new DAF trucks. A Class 1 C+E licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
