Overview
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established company based in Blaydon-On-Tyne. Starting Salary: £25.00 – £28.00 per hour depending on experience with additional responsibility payments and Enhanced overtime rates (ETO: £70,000 – £75,000).

They are a specialist electrical/mechanical contractor to the electrical supply industry and other large consumers of electricity. The company specialises in repair and refurbishment of power transformers and associated high voltage plant.
The Role
We are looking for a qualified electrician to eventually work within small multi-skilled teams on high voltage (HV) substation projects throughout the UK. This is a hands-on role that also requires attention to detail and is ideal for someone who enjoys varied electrical and some mechanical work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision and participation in electrical works within HV substations
- General electrical duties including installation and termination of multi-core cabling
- Tray work and panel wiring
- Completing and maintaining project documentation
- Ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards
Additional Information
- Most work involves working away from home
- Occasional weekend and bank holiday work may be required
- Transport, lodging allowance, and expenses are covered
- All necessary training will be provided
- Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress and carry out authorisation training for various UK electricity companies
