An excellent opportunity for a dynamic Contracts Administrator to work full time in supporting multiple departments in the company’s bespoke timber manufacturing business. The successful candidate will have some experience in the construction or manufacturing industries and be able to manage their own time and tasks. In return, we will train you as part of this specialist small team, allowing you to work on some of the biggest & best construction projects throughout the UK – from Billionaire’s mansions to the Houses of Parliament. The role is office-based at our Bolton factory and is designed to support both the contracts and sales team with various administrative tasks:

  • Liaising with subcontractors and customers to plan work and help resolve issues on site.
  • Booking transport for daily shipments across the UK.
  • Speaking with supply chain to place orders and check delivery schedules.
  • Working closely with contracts, production, and design teams to update dispatch & installation plans.
  • Formatting and issuing quotations to support sales & estimating team.
  • Liaising with design team, surveyors, and customers to plan work and help resolve issues on site.

The candidate must have:

  • Some experience of working in the construction or manufacturing industry. This is non-negotiable.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good phone manner.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Some joinery experience.
  • Driving licence.

The candidate must be:

  • Eager to learn.
