Location-The company is based in Glossop, Derbyshire. This role is a nationwide \”on the road\” position, meaning there maybe time spent away from home. When working away from home is required, this will be carefully managed to ensure a good work life balance.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our customers.
Responsibilities
Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement solutions
Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
Document service activities, including service reports and parts usage
Collaborate with the engineering and office team to provide feedback on product performance and remedial actions.
Experience Required
Commercial Gas Ticket
Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas experience
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Outstanding communication skills and customer-oriented approach
