About The Role:

The company are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Tramper Drivers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
  • Use of hand-held device for job details and POD's.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on delivery driving.
  • Familiarity with flatbed lorries is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A valid commercial driving licence is required.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing delivery schedules effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
